The Southside Virginia Volunteer Firefighter's Association is an organization that strives to be current with new and innovative technology and training standards. Our mission is to have the best possible trained personnel to respond to any and all forms of emergencies, and to properly protect our communities. The Southside Association is very proud of the firefighters and instructors who have given of their time unselfishly to see that this mission is obtained. We will always excel to continue our growth of knowledge, training expertise and professionalism, so that our association does not lay dormant in the eyes of others.
I would like to say thank you to the many members and officers who sit on the Association's committees to ensure that day to day objectives and goals are met. These people give extra time to benefit all who are a part of the association and a many thanks goes to them. Also, I extend thanks to all of the association members who have supported me during my term as president over this past year.
